Cars in German Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Authorities reported they were alerted by a individual who noticed a automobile in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Roughly 50 cars have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, according to police.

Automobiles, walls and postboxes were defaced, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Officers say they were contacted during the night on Wednesday night, when a resident discovered that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued substance.

The fluid had been applied in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Officers then located multiple other vandalized automobiles and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under regulations banning the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials state preliminary tests indicate the liquid was probably human blood.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; authorities are not yet cognizant of any physical harm in relation with the event," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were trying "to unravel the incident" and have appealed to the residents for tips.

A senior official said the vandalism left him without words and required to be resolved quickly.

"This act affects the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the right-wing attack in 2020," he posted on social media, recalling the killing of nine individuals by a gunman focusing on individuals of foreign heritage in 2020.
